Arise Dance Team

ARISE is CMA’s dance and servant leadership team. ARISE is a group of young woman, based out of Fort Collins CO, who love Jesus and have a passion for using dance as a tool for worship, outreach, and ministering to the body of Christ.

 

ARISE is an audition based dance team that train together for 3.5 hours a week. This training includes: ballet and contemporary technique; team building; and ongoing discipleship, with an emphasis on building community while staying outwardly focused. Team members are mature young women with over a decade of previous dance training, who are dedicated to being life-long learners.   

 

ARISE team members serve as staff, alongside our CMA School of Dance teachers, at CMA’s annual spring performances and dress rehearsals.   

 

In addition to serving and performing at our annual dance recital, they also dance at churches and events around Colorado. (Sunday services, worship nights, ladies events, special holidays, conferences, etc.)

 

Through their love for Jesus, technical skills, and dramatic expression they bring song lyrics to life – creating a visual picture that enhances the message of the song. ARISE uses the medium of dance to show the beauty of knowing Jesus.
